About Us

Wondering what Past Forward is all about?We’re your local VHS digitizing pros here in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles— turning your treasured tapes and home videos into digital magic.We started this small business when family visiting from out of the country brought with them a bunch of old family VHS tapes. We quickly realized options were limited for fast, high quality video digitizing nearby. We invested in our own equipment and realized we could offer this service to families around our area!

Step 3: Receive updates as your tapes are digitized
Step 4: Receive sample & submit final payment through our online portal
Step 5: Receive your cloud download link once your tapes are ready
Step 6: Arrange to receive your tapes back
Step 7 (Optional): Pay for AI upscaling on videos of your choice

I understand that older analog media such as VHS tapes, film, audio cassettes, and photographs may be fragile or degraded due to age, previous storage conditions, or unknown factors.

I acknowledge that while Past Forward Studio will take reasonable care in handling and digitizing my materials, there is no guarantee that all items can be recovered or transferred successfully.

I understand that tapes may suffer damage during playback due to internal failure, mold, tape brittleness, or other issues beyond the control of Past Forward Studio.

I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Past Forward Studio, its owners, agents, and affiliates from any liability or claims arising out of the handling, digitization, or loss of my media, including loss of sentimental value.

I understand that no compensation will be offered for media that is damaged, degraded, or untransferable, as I accept the risks associated with this service.
